Instrumentation
Full and associate members can access instruments maintained by the center including a Coulter CBC instrument and a BioRad droplet digital PCR instrument for work related to pediatric immunology research.
For more information contact Jennifer Laurent (jlaurent@wustl.edu).
Cores
Human samples core
Full members can request access to samples* from patients with disorders of the immune system including cryopreserved PBMC, serum, whole blood RNA/DNA, fibroblast lines, and B cell lines.
Full members and associate members can request access to samples* from healthy children for conducting research related to pediatric immunology.
* Access to samples is contingent on a brief application, appropriate human subjects compliance, and may be limited in number.
Sequencing core
Full members have access to Center for Pediatric Immunology informatics services including an in-house database of genetic variants, dedicated time with a bioinformaticist for analysis of single-cell RNA-seq experiments and exome/genome analysis. This includes assistance with data analysis and preparation of figures for presentation.
Associate members have access to some services including our variant database and some genomic analysis.
If you would like to request scRNA-seq and/or exome/genome analysis, please follow the links below for more information.
Human subjects consultation
Full members can work with our clinical research coordinator for advice on initiating new studies related to pediatric immune disease and work through issues related to use of human subjects samples to ensure compliance and protect patient privacy.
Personnel
Kristen McDaniels

Ana Kolicheski, PhD
Staff Scientist
Ana Kolicheski has expertise in analysis of exome and genome sequencing and single-cell RNA-seq. She is available for consultation for all center members, and full members can have dedicate time to work with Kolicheski for their center-related projects.
Nermina Saucier, MS
Senior Research Technician
Nermina Saucier has over 12 years of experience in processing and handling human immune cell samples. She maintains our sample bank and is responsible for distribution of samples approved for use by center members.
Rachel Bielecki
Research Technician II
Rachel works with the Center for Pediatric Immunology assisting with human sample preparation, ensuring that we maintain high-quality preparation of samples from research participants.
